Alternatively, a mod known as "RE5Fix" which you can find on GitHub has an option in the .ini configurable that removes the greenish color tint in-game.
Im going to post my preset here in a couple days.
bro, thank you so much for this alternative.
No problem, I'm glad to have helped!
Just wondering if using "RE5fix" you can still play online with people using current patch? Im using maluc RE5 fixes for ENBs/Mods but it cuts me off from current playerbase
RE5Fix only allows you to tinker with the color filter and shadows quality, the only fixes it provides are related to crashes from higher resolution monitors.
The mod itself was developed with Quality of Life Fixes compatibility in mind, but
from my testing it also worked on the latest version of maluc's patch without issues yesterday.
( had to install maluc's patch because one of my CO-OP partners was using it, so I ended up having an extra version of the game installed - currently I have a backup of the vanilla game before its latest update, a vanilla backup on the current version, a directory with a few cosmetic mods installed + maluc's patch, and the one I use most of the time - the game with RE5Fix and a few cosmetic mods installed )
Plus the mod itself is only 2 files and is not a large scale fix like QoL Fixes or maluc's patch, so the impact it should have on the MP side of the code should be minimal to non-existent.
Currently, I am playing on the latest CAPCOM update with only RE5Fix and a couple of cosmetic modifications installed, and I'm successfully able to join the lobbies of people that have the vanilla game and vice-versa without a problem.
(people who also have the latest CAPCOM update installed)
