Too bad, wish there was an option to include those back in the menu. It kept me in my toes and the death scenes were creatively brutal. I'm on that part with the first QTE sequences with the motorcycles and I consider the removal a downgrade cause the sequence was replaced by a 30fps cutscene. Like really? lol. Someone just slapped in an .avi and called it a day. I must say it looks sharp and crisp but that's about what it has going for it.

There is a setting to auto-complete the QTE's, but you can turn them back to manual mode.

The QTE cutscenes were also always at 30fps for some reason.

I see. I didn't notice that setting somewhere but i'll look for it later cause that QTE with Wesker was hilarious with it playing with friends.

I forgot about QTE scenes being 30fps... Oh well, this is a PS3 game after all so alright.

Thanks for the tip. I won't play with QTEs in online mode. Apparently, we have a choice to turn it back on.

All melee QTEs (ex: punching wesker) or dodging certain enemy attacks (ex: majinis jumping with a spear) are not automatic despite activating the option, only the cutscenes and some in game are full auto (ex: dodging pipes or the cocrodiles)

wow bro they really removed those qte's from such an old title, LOL,

I would buy a vial of tears created from people's rage at these qte's

in hindsight they are incredibly funny almost anytime except the first time they make you 'rage' at them, even the fact that they did you know a part of you was laughing...

it's really funny that they removed them like that people complained so much for so long (must be folks that never played super mario bros) that they actually bothered to do that, hilarious

where is the setting? i didn't know it was optional I thought they just removed them. I might actually turn it back to manual now lol

I've been looking through the internet and despite everyone saying the same thing, no one ever mentioned where the option to turn them back on is (shame since as much as I hate QTE's, I wanna see that one death scene with Wesker).

( Auto / Assist / OFF )

Auto - All cutsceens will be done automaticly, rest of QTE are shrinked to " F / A+D ( F+V is not pressented) "

Assist - Cutsceens and QTE are shrinked to " F / A+D ( F+V is not pressented) "

OFF - Mix of " F / A+D / F+V " *in QTE and CutSceens*

Sort of, you can still turn them on if you want, but they're a pain in the ass.
