Resident Evil 5
disable splitscreen?
I am trying to play solo with controller , but whenever I press the start button, the game becomes splitscreen and I control both Chris and Sheeva with only 1 controller. I want the AI to have Sheeva and play Chris on fullscreen. is there any mod or fixes for this?

Having split screen is cool. But not able to disable it is dumb
Unplugging other hardwares won't work. Pressing the pause button on your controller still does the same thing. Just press shift and tap at the same time to switch to desktop if you wanna pause the game. Right now unfortunately there aren't any options of disabling splitscreen. Just be careful not to fat-finger the pause button on your controller while playing.

Going to leave this here for anyone else who needs it in the future, but I created a Steam Input template that fixes this issue.

- In your games Library, go to Resident Evil 5, Right-click and select Properties > Controller > Enable Steam Input > Hover to and click on "Controller Configurator".

- Click on your current gamepad template and select "Search" from the top menu.

- Type "co-op" into the search bar and you will find my specific configuration to remove split-screen settings on the Start button.

Works great, thanks!

Should be higher up. Works great on SteamDeck as well!
