You don't really need any patches - just download it, unpack and run. For the character swap to work properly make sure to enable "Fix Missing Files" and "Fix Cutscenes". The first one actually fixes missing files in general. The rest should be more or less clear, just explore it xD.

Every time I alt tab to the game and try to change settings it crashes the game. How do I stop it from doing that?

I figured it out. I went into my program settings and turned off DEP for the game and kept it from closing. Now it works fine in fullscreen.

The other variant , is to set game to Window mode, and use side program "Borderless Gaming" whitch make game Borderless.
But it that what you did helped , you don't need to do that xD

I don't get why people are buttblown over something such as this, find people who don't want to use this tool, if anything this enhances the replayability of the game.

I only use the trainer for private games and for fun purposes (friends, wife etc) but I must take my hat off to you. Maluc should learn from you, seriously. You updated your trainer in no time but Maluc refuses to update his patches and the MML mod (I use it for the laser sight, 4p mercenaries and voice commands). I am sure that for modders like you and him this doesn't take long. But some people is more egoist than others i guess. Good job, my respect

Little bit too late, but RE5 in fullscreen is not gut.
IF you wana play still in fullscreen but alttabing from game, you need to use
"borderless gaming"

Once you have it, set RE5 to window, and then in the "borderless gaming" set it borderless.
Boom, borderless RE5.
