To the cheaters that join co op. Don't otherwise you crash games.

Six times in a row I have a random join my game see that they have things like a gun with 999 on the ammo we load a perfectly good checkpoint that I was playing 30 seconds ago only for my game to crash. So guys and gals check your system before you join a random. This game is on rubberbands ducktape and prayers enough as it is.

I feel like if they cared about not ruining the experience, they wouldn't be cheating in the first place

They straight up don't understand why some people wouldn't turn on infinite ammo, they must think it was a mistake to leave it off or something. I feel like a lot of them would die without an automatic breathing cheat in real life LOL

It's weird that it crashes you out, try getting the model swap patch for GE, not sure where to get that as lately the proboards display a malware warning when you try to access them, but for re6 it's still on gamebanana so you can try that

weird that it crashes your game for just a single weapon, mostly the crashes are caused because they swap their character with a trainer for something else like for example "excella" and since you dont have the patch requiered the game just crashes on start, now has the comment above said you need to install the patch in order to avoid it.

You both are right I should use a patch to avoid this. But I also think they should avoid joining randoms for example you join a re5 co op both players can see each others ip address etc. I think it would be a shame if cheaters got on someone's radar have a melted computer as a result.

yeah i get what you mean but atleast personally it dosent bother me since it dosent affect you that much, its just annoyng but at the same time this people just wanna have some fun trying something different online swapping characters and weapons you cant normally use i guess, and this is something that i dont see the issue has long has its not a competitive game like pvp or that stuff, good thing the most that this game offers is coop since the other game modes are dead.

Counter to that they should do the same. Consider the situation where new players come in and don't realize what crashes their game. Or let's say you want to play with randoms and you expect the aspect of we aren't going to no clip thru the map or be wesker/jill in the story for example.

true i guess its fair to always ask if they can play with you using trainers and swaps, anyway i hope you were able to fix the issue with the patch bro, i wish you the best of luck and stay cool, just dont get too carried away by this

That's why knowing means the burden of responsibility is on the person who knows.

I'm not saying it's annoying but if you open your session to randos who don't know that if their game is modded that it could crash things, then understand it could possibly be that they don't actually understand what's going on.

Safe play is vetted play, I play LAN with one other person, and that's it because anything else is definitely a risk, and considering you know what that risk is, it's kinda bad to get vindictive about it.

It's also not bad to speak on a matter to show perspective to show that some people might not tolerate the issues. Vindictive would be using things in a revenge aspect not a punishment aspect so might want to use the proper terms if you want to imply about a behavior. Then again I wonder why exactly did you choose to come onto a forum while trying to be condensing to someone you simply don't agree with. Then again since it's clear you don't understand certain terms yet use them perhaps I should consider the idea of not wasting any more of my time trying to speak to someone such as yourself.

Posting here is not a justification to hack people, there's no guarantee in fact there's little to no guarantee that posting here ensures that the entirety of the playerbase who still does co-op will first read what you're posting before joining another game.

Another likelihood is that a certain amount of the playerbase is also non-english speaking and therefore they're not going to have ANY clue about what you're saying before doing this stuff, and certain regions of the world cheating or hacking is not frowned upon as much as it is in the west.

You're not posting an EULA here, this is a discussion board where frankly most people aren't going to see what you're posting.

I would say start a co-op thread to invite people who know how you want to play instead of "warning" people who likely will never see the warning.

Me personally, I just finished hacking the ever living ♥♥♥♥ out of my inventory using Cheat engine and thus far it seems to work fine, however I would not want to ruin somebody else's playstyle by randomly joining their game and doing that.

I've already played this game legit like 10 years ago or more now, I just want to shoot some things and play things on PC instead of using a clunky controller.

I get that and that is why I replied with "don't get too carried away" meaning that there's no need to go that far "hacking another person pc just because they want to show off" in my opinion is just not enough excuse to do that just because it crashes your game. (don't take things too seriously in here or anywhere else) that's just my opinion, and it seems like toxic gaming behavior to me, for example "if you don't play the game the way I want you to play it then ill hack your computer" see? But instead of insulting ravire I was just trying to help and feel what ravire was saying, and why? Simply because of empathy even thought I don't fully know him I'm still welling to understand his motives, also I don't get what are you trying to say to me, I just gave my opinion and that's it
