Issue with Untold Stories Costumes

As it says, theres an issue, or I think there is. me and my friend can't access the costumes from the untold stories dlc. We both have the dlc, but it wont show them as unlocked, meaning we can't even select them. Do we need to complete the game first?

I've already watched the video. And looked it up that the costumes are apart of the DLC Untold Stories Bundle. Of which I have. Problem is, even though I have it, its not letting me use it. O.o so the video is kinda pointless. As I've already clarrified that I have the dlc for the costumes. I just can't use them for whatever reason. And neither can my friend, who also has them.

Does it say "Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition" at the start screen?

Just tested the game and i could use the fairy tale costume from the dlc try to complete the main story than you should have more options like infinite ammo and extra contents

It does in fact say gold edition at the start screen. Also, I can already use the Warrior and Business costumes. So I think it would be a little weird that it requires me to complete the game to use the other dlc related costumes as well. But I'll probably end up finishing the game soon and I'll inform as to if thats the case or not. But if anyone knows of another reason, that'd be helpful.
