I've got a few questions :

1. How does the CO-OP system work - are progress and achievements shared between the host and the "guest" ? Does the progress stay unless it's deleted ?
2. How do the Death Records work - only for Story Mode, or for every unlockable game mode ?

It's my first time playing on Steam, I've beaten the game once pirated back in 2013.
I tried playing Solo, but Sheva's AI just loves shooting people while I stun them for some good ol' hand-to-hand combat, and it's kind of boring playing Solo to be real.

I'm not hunting for achievements, I still enjoy them , rather if it's easy enough, I want to max out the game 100%. I'm looking for someone to play, doesn't matter if it's a newcomer like me or someone with experience, I'm always ready to learn new things, I'm currently interested in the main campaign, perhaps the other unlockable game modes like Mercenaries or Lost In Nightmares as well.
While I am trying to unlock achivos, they aren't really necessary to unlock for me 1st try, I am more interested in the CO-OP story experience.

If someone's interested, please add me so we can play.
Also I got no idea if I'm gonna be active everyday cause college, and I'm from Bulgaria, so there might be time differences too.

1- If you complete a chapter with another player, both of you will earn the achievement for complete it. Some achievements can only be done by yourself, like the "perform a headshot on a jumping majini". If you do it and unlock it, the other player won't. And yes, the progress is saved for both players. Chapter and items.

2 - The deaths counts for both players. Meaning: if your partner dies (IA or human player) at the end of the chapter (result screen) it will say x1 (you) and x1 (other player). But don't worry. If you get rank S and the other player rank A, you still get your rank S (and the other player rank A, obviously). In solo, if the AI dies, it counts as a death for you too, so watch out.
