- Do you replacing files or it just drop it without asking about it ?
/or/
- Do you useing fluffymod manager ?
- Do you own GoldEdition of re5
If not, is that mod for non-gold edition ?
- what mod you are trying to add ?
I downloaded EB's reshade graphics mod. I just put all the texture files in the Archive folder and thats it. No replacing any files were asked. Just like the guy did in the Youtube video. No fluffymod manager. And i do not own RE5 gold edition.
First, you go into https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/ or a site for mods and choose the skins you like.
Second, you install the them and extract them using an extraction tool such as 7zip or winrar.
Third, you open the game’s main directory which you can access by going into your steam library > resident evil 5 > right click and press on properties > click on the local files tab > browse local files.
Fourth, mods usually come packed inside a NativePC_MT folder so you just drag and drop your file in that window where the main directory is located. You will be asked if you’d like to replace your files to which you click on yes. On the other hand if the mod is just a file containing the mod alone you’ll have to go directly into nativePC_MT> Image > Archive, and you’ll have to drag, drop and replace the file that’s there.
Once you’ve done all of that your mods should be ready to go. Have fun!
