Do you recommend buying a Melee Vest ? + Is there anything to do with treasures except
selling them ?

Thanks.

I think collecting at least one of each gem / treasure gives a Steam achievement. Not sure if they need to actually be in inventory or if you can have sold them.

Vests are good if you're getting hurt a lot by that type of damage. On Veteran and Professional they make the game a LOT easier, but even on Amateur if you're getting hit a lot and have inventory space to spare might as well get a vest.

The bulletproof vests are helpful in the last annoying chapters. Never needed the melee ones, at least by the way I play

For the Achivement you can have them sold. No need to keep them in the box.

Depends how often you get hit. It might be usefull in late game against mostly melee based bosses (and if QTE based dodging doesnt work that well for you)

However, this counts mostly for the diffculties easy, normal and veteran.
On Professional the melee vest wont help you that much at all. It only reduces mild damage. For example when a dog bites you on the run. Most other attack like a hit from a standard majini with a club will still put you in crtitcal condition.
But that only counts for the Melee vest. The BP Vest is actually usefull.
(Wont save you from a minigun barage but does help to prevent critical state from a crossbow bolt)

Melee vest was useful when I completed the entire game with a knife.

In Pro the melee vest doesn't save you against physical damage. Dogs are an exception because their bite is not lethal (if they hit you from behind with a jump, you will enter in danger status, no matter if you have melee vest or not). The same for the "spider- flying parasites", they cause a little damage to the player. So no need to use melee vest in Pro. The bulletproof vest, in the other hand, can save you from a bullet or two or an arrow. You should know more about the game before giving tips to people. Just saying

Melee and bulleproof vest are useful. Specially on higher difficulties. Both reduce the damage recived.

On professional is true all the hits will put you on Danger but against wesker theres a kick you can survive if you had the melee vest.
