But, if you wana just Turn (like for 180) Stop at place and then move with mouse , with this, it's more faster that "Quick Turn" (for me)
[Preview video Removed]
-at start i was useing A & D
-Then i stop turn and start running again
-With sniper works too, and it' maby faster , idk
-Didn't used QuickTurn in prev. video
Walking and turning to sides are lowered from gameplay reasons.
In RE 5, if I want to do a quick 90 degree turn, I stop walking/running and rotate my camera using my mouse while standing still.
Or if I'm playing using gamepad, I use the right joystick to rotate my view 90 degree while standing still, and then quick tap/release the aiming button.
If you're using controller, you can actually move your camera to the left and right while running, and if you aim while doing this you can make sharp turns this way. RE4 also works the same way, and the HD PC port of RE4 allow you to somewhat control your camera with mouse while moving so you can quickly turn in that game using the mouse with camera just like controller users can, but in RE5 you can't.
Even if you bind a separate key to turn the camera left and right, for some stupid reason if you're on mouse look controller mode for keyboard and mouse, the game will instead treat 'camera turn left' like turn your character left, so you'll physically turn left rather than it turning the camera left. It's completely redundant since that's what the mouse already does, it makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense.
Only if you use the awful cursor aiming mode does the camera turn function actually turn your camera in that respective direction, but this mode is awful on mouse and keyboard I really have no idea what they were thinking with it. You basically need to have camera keys bound to move your camera in all four directions, because the game will keep your aim camera static unless you manually move it which can put you in seriously awkward spots. You can sharp turn like controller users can, but the negatives of this mode far outweigh the positives.
Can't believe RE4 HD on mouse feels better than RE5 on mouse. It's not impossible, but it feels worse just from the lack of camera control. Even makes me miss RE6 mouse controls.
