He's just trying to help. And really, what does it matter? It's not like it's a multiplayer hack that gives a player an advantage; grinding money is grinding money and there's already loads of mods out there. Consider that Capcom hasn't patched their game to get it working well so players are using maluc patch, considering there's a big modding community, I'd say duping items is just as well.
Besides, players can farm 3-1, 4-1, 5-2, or 5-3 anyways.
Using hacks or trainers kills the fun for me. The psychological effect for rewards you worked for is not to underestimate.
