This beautiful mod.
Removes the horrendous green filter smeared all over the graphics and gives the game some much needed color.

Looks like a whole new game.

What I did.

1:Extract the mod.
2:Put all the files in your RE5 directory where r5dx9.exe is.
3:Start the game, press home key. Go to settings tab click the minus symbols under input processing.
4: Click the + Effect search paths point to reshade-shaders\shaders press ok.
5:Click the + Texture search paths point to reshade-shaders\textures press ok.
6:Click home tab check all the boxes, I leave arcane bloom off.
7:Press F6 to turn greenish filter on/off.

Yeah it took me a while to figure out how to get all the reshade settings to show up. At first, only ENB works when you press F6.

But once you do everything you mentioned above, all the other settings show up> I'll have to go through them later and figure out which ones i like most.

Been playing RE1 and RE0 and I used similar mods for them... I like the sharpening effect in both games but some of the color filters make the game look too purple or over saturated. So I end up leaving the color settings switched off and just use Reshade to sharpen the game up and eliminate the terrible blurring that plagues both games.

Hi, is there a way to save the options for these settings?
I'm not sure why, but when I press the Home key to see if the check marks are on, sometimes it goes back to off.

If there is a way to do it I have no clue how to do it.
Every time I restart the game I just end up checking the boxes that I want. I don't use the bloom setting as it makes everything way too harsh and bright.

what can you say about the advantages of using this mod over Raz0r & Dante's trainer?

This mod has those extra features (the ones that can be found on Home settings) while the trainer has No color filter (there are 2 modes) and HD-Shadows options.

I tried both; they both remove the green filter and give the same color after effect.
I think the only difference between the two are their extra features.
I'm not an expert when it comes to these things, so is there any difference/advantages between using a mod VS trainer? Is there any difference in game performance, etc.?

I'm not sure if this mod helps performance or not as I've got a very good graphics card that eats this game alive but I play on a 4K tv that can only do 4k 60fps. I turn vysnyc on and have no idea what my uncapped framerate would look like.

The main reason that I use this specific mod is mainly for pressing "F6" to remove the green filter and then I also turn on the setting called "adaptiveSharpen" in the Home screen.

That setting basically sharpens up the look of all the character models and all textures. If you watch the screen while turning that setting off and on you'll see without the setting everything in the game looks much more blurry whereas when it's on everything clears right up and looks much more crisp.

The other "Home" menu settings are a matter of taste as to whether you want them on. It's arguable that "ArcaneBloom" makes everything look more realistic but sometimes I find it's too much contrast and it almost blinds you. So I chose to leave that setting off.

The rest of the settings from the "Home" screen dont have a huge impact on how the graphics look so you'll just have to try them out and see if you like them.

But that adaptive sharpen setting makes the game look far less blurry.

The guy that made this mod also made a similar one for RE1 and RE0 and they also have that sharpening setting that takes away the blurry image. I use it for those games too and they look so much better.

If you watch that video I posted in the OP you can see the difference between ArcaneBloom off and on.

When it says "ENB" that means it's only with the F6 ENB setting turned on.

When it says "ENB + Reshade" it means ArcaneBloom is also turned on.... along with all the other "Home" settings.

Except if you don't like the ArcaneBloom you can just turn it off by unchecking it on the home screen... and then leave whatever home screen settings you actually do want.

In my case i go for ENB + AdaptiveSharpen only. I turn the other 4 "Home" settings off.
