Can't play as Sheva in single player mode

I know I got to complete the game to unlock her as playable character but that's the thing, I just finished it in coop mode. I tried to beat 6-3 chapter as Chris again, but that didn't do a thing. The select screen doesn't appear at all.

You have to complete every chapter as one of the characters so for example start with chris end with chris if u go back and fourth between sheva and chris it can mess up sometimes. If you need someone to speed run the game with you just let me know.

Go to chapter select, and make sure that you have a rank below every single chapter. A rank would indicate that you fully completed that chapter.

If you have a rank below every single chapter and subchapters, then make sure that you got all those ranks in the same difficulty. Maybe the game requires you to have completed every single chapter in the same difficulty before it considers the game completed.
