3. Yes. They (sometimes) dont like infinite ammo (same with me), except pro campaign.
4. Yes. I also kick out the player (or quit from his/her session) when i saw my partner use RL. Beating that uroborous just need to burn him in order to expose his core (he has 4 cores)
5. Perhaps she/he is newbie
4.the 5-2 BOSS fight might have some bug or something, since the weakspot won't pop out only if you damage it with gastank or incendiary weapon, while the flamethrower just seem to useless
6.jill actually count as a BOSS in the game, and kill her in 5-3 did recorded in the defeated tab in the records.so they might just want to complete the list.
1. I dont think they didnt want to add friend, they just cant. If you dont remember your partner's name and find them on steam and add them at the end of your coop session, they are gone forever. I think it's possible to view gamer profile from the list of open coop sessions, but to be honest, I dont think anyone wants to add someone they know nothing about nor have not played with yet. Only in mercanaries mode that you can actually open gamer's profile on steam and add them from there.
2. Yeah, some goes AFK.
3. I think that's because lots of them are on their first playthrough or unable to enable infinite ammo. After that it's 50/50, people wants some challenge after indulging in infinite ammo ha ha.
4. Ah well, I just think that your coop partner decides to call it quits because it had been a really long and exhausting fight, so they need to take a rest after it's done. Don't think too much about it. Some actually dislikes rocket launcher because it takes the fun out of it, very understandable.
5. Lol just think of them as kids who didnt know better yet ha ha.
6. I have no idea why is that either. I know of speedrun tactics involving shooting Jill's device consecutively after shooting her knee but that's for the later stage, and by your description, it doesnt look like they are doing that either.
7. Ah well yes of course, that's a dead giveaway what kind of control they are using ha ha.
2. Same for me. It's strange. Also, a lot of people seem to wait for people to join their chapter 1-1, the game starts, they look at you for a few seconds, and then boot you. I've had that happen so many times by different people. wtf?
3. I find infinite ammo very boring and unchallenging. I play a lot of mercenaries with Wesker STARS for high scores though, so pistol with finite ammo and mostly melee kills is my style.
4. I think there's a bug in that boss fight that stops you ever being able to kill it without a rocket launcher. I may be wrong. But a few times I have also been in that boss fight for 30-60 mins without being able to kill it
5. I haven't seen that happen
6. I haven't seen that happen either, but azumanganx's explanation might be right.
7. That actually explains a lot to me. I always wondered why people put guns in spots that aren't D-Pad shortcuts. I thought they were just noobs
2. You won't join a game unless a player restarts or reaches a checkpoint. So yeah often you can apply to join, but if they're in a long section then it'll be a while. 10-20 minutes isn't terribly unusual - if you have a pretty strong player that's fast then they'll take a short while, but if players aren't really on point, if they're looking around (happens a lot for BSAA emblems and gems) then eh.
3. I can't speak for the majority. Personally I usually start a level with a spray (to bring back to full health in case I started damaged and either starting handgun / Ithaca, or V761 machine gun and S75 rifle - all unmodified - and I'll only use more ammo if I'm on I think 5-1? Because it's just too easy otherwise.
Lot of players that use "limited ammo" though use trainers . . . so their guns automatically refill with ammo or they're carrying 99 grenades all the time . . . I dunno why. I just quit those games. If I wanted to do that, I'd join an unlimited ammo game . . . why use limited ammo then use a trainer . .. .
4. I prefer to fight stuff without RPG. 5-2 boss - what is it, like limit frames to 60, tip over gas canisters, let boss absorb into body, trigger explosion with flamethrower, keep spamming flamethrower while partner blows up the ball weak points, repeat. Then I don't know but MAYBE firing on the boss while it's on fire pushes it to expose its weak points. Maybe.
It doesn't take too long if you do it right. But yeah I prefer to fight it. It's not too difficult if you know what you're doing. But usually I pack an RPG just in case my partner doesn't know what to do and blows up all the gas canisters and whatever without waiting for the flamethrower.
5. "Come on!" is just one of those kid meme spams or whatever. It's not that they're being bossy, I guess? More like they're bored, or maybe they think it's funny, or whatever.
As to "give me a herb" or whatever - if they're asking for an item, I'll just hand it over. Sometimes players want to collect stuff. Like I'm collecting flash grenades right now. If a player wants a herb or whatever, I don't mind if they have it.
6. Some players played before but forgot what to do. Or they used a trainer or whatever to get items. Or whatever. Who knows. And some players are of course just trolls. But whatever.
7. Why would keyboard / mouse users put weapons in top 3 slots? Is there a hotkey function or something? I use controller, I wouldn't know.
But yeah, I use controller and I usually put my weapons in left/right/top/bottom slots.
I also enable Infinite Ammo in the trainer because Model Swapped characters can't use infinite ammo normally, but now that I understand it bothers some people, I might start switching it off if I join someone who disabled it.
As for the crashes, it's because of Jill. I have no idea why, but Jill seems to be cursed. Crashes happen during 1-1 talking to butcher, 3-1 if I trigger the magnum spike trap, 4-1 when Popokarimu shows up again, 6-1 if I trigger the crane trap, 6-2 when you trigger Uroborous Aheri, and 6-3 when you go down the elevator.
Rebecca is crash-free, oddly enough.
Sometimes I play as Jill because I love her character, and I have always thought about how awesome this game would have been if Jill had stayed Chris's partner. They have a lot of chemistry, and yet there is no coop game with the two of them as the main characters, and sadly... nobody plays Lost In Nightmares.
The only way for Jill to be crash-free is to join someone who uses the trainer with the same settings, which is very rare.

I've tried that before, but there's a few things about it that bugs me. Left-handed, doesn't have Jill's knife or melee moves, ponytail is completely static, and Chris's voice is bugged whenever Jill dies. He goes "JIIIII-" and cuts off.
at least less buggy than other jill's mod scatter across the net
