Has anyone noticed that Jill Valentine in RE3 remake look so much like Kidman in EvilWithin2?

[so far] She looks like MIlla Jovovich ripoff tbh just watch how the hair moves in the trailer, and i thought the "paul anderson" nightmare was over jesus christ.

ps: Kidman looks better imo more expressive, her face shows emotion and new jill well she has the "dead inside" kind of face.

I'm just being too mean with the new girl, maybe we should give her a chance idk.

Yeah I don't like the RE3 remake either and imo this game was created for rich people who buy the game and just maybe play it for 1h.

I personally wanted Resident Evil 8 with a brand new iteration of "The Mercenaries". Because Mercenaries is my ♥♥♥♥, and RESIDENT EVIL videogame is supposed to have some sort of source of constant replayability (such as The Mercenaries or Raid mode).

And I don't like the new appearance of Jill either. Jill from RE3 Remake looks like an entirely different person compared to Jill from RE1 remake, RE Revelations and RE5. We all know Julia Voth as Jill Valentine, in all three 3D era games that Jill starred in (well, four actually, but nobody gives a diddly squat about RE umbrella chronicles game for Wii and PS3).

What is this? Who is this woman? That's not Jill nor anybody similar to her or as OP said Juli Kidman from The Evil Within, that is somebody else entirely. She doesn't even look remotely similar to Jill Valentine that we know of at all.

Why couldn't capcom just motion capture Julia Voth (mocap actress of Jill in RE1 remake, Revelations 1 and RE5) again? They could have even hired and motion captured Sienna Guillory (actress of Jill from Anderson's films) and even she would be a more believable Jill Valentine.

Ughhhhh Capcom, what in the hell are you doing, I can't even...

And some few other side notes to go with it.

Redesigns of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield in RE2 Remake were VERY GOOD picks and I like them 100 %.

However I am still pissed off about how Capcom ucked up Chris's design in Resident Evil 7. Just go here and look through pictures to get a better idea:

Chris's facial structure remains pretty much the same in all the iterations that he appeared in.
Even his RE1 Remake facial appearance is very similar to the one from Revelations 1, RE5 and RE6, still the same person, minus the staggering buffness.

He does look a little bit different than from appearances in Revelations 1, RE5 and RE6, but still, 90 % of facial features still match the previous iterations.

Meanwhile Resident Evil 7 Chris looks like an entirely different person. For real, the same deal as with RE3 Remake Jill. Not even remotely similar to previous facial designs.

Chris Redfield redesign/new face is a failure, guy looks skinny there's a big noticeable diffence between the big muscular "gorila" chris and the new one.

New jill is less busty, she looks a lot like Lara Croft sister (rip-off) just give her a bow and arrows and you get Lara v.2 just google lara croft 2013 almost the same looks shes too generic and it doesnt feel like Valentine imo.

There's too many fanboys looking forward to play with new jill in RE3 remake (go and read the reisdent evil subreddit or the RE2 remake steam discussion section) not everyone but many couldnt care less bout old Jill they just wanna "consume" the new game asap and move on like they usually do these days, theres no attachment to characters, no relation, its a new generation and new resident evil games are made focused on new people and some nostalgia addicts (those guys who re-play RE3 like 1000 times every year).

Resident Evil died with RE 5 plot, its pretty much the same case as " Lost" or "Game of Thrones" ending that being rushed, dumb, destroying character arcs, poor story, poorly written, poor development and much more just to end with that chapter and move on to new stories which totally failed (RE 6) and capcom can't improve the franchise by delivering new, inteligent and original plot, instead they just milk Shinji Mikami previous work (RE2, RE3 remake) plus RE7 is just a "reboot" based on RE 1 elements.

So sad, such a waste, it makes me so angry, watching amazing stories (Lost, Game of Thrones, The walking dead TV show, Resident evil) being destroyed coz showrunners or the company want to "subvert expectations".

Sexiest jill is definitely the one in Resident evil HD remaster. They are just trying to jump on the sjw bandwagon redesign that the media keeps pushing. And yeah most of these overpriced things are for the generation that spends 100 bucks on a game, plays it for an hour and then dumps it for years.

They changed her because her existing Voice/Face Actress went solo (left the union) which i guess makes some legalities harder and CAPCOM decided not to bother.

I don't know all the details but i prefered OG far more - but that's what mods are for.

Man I would've been over the moon and beyond if they did the remake with new Jill modelled after Julia Voth in the new engine
Reminds me though RE2 remake has mods and models are one of them right? Maybe someone will do try and do that

Alyson Court used to be a voice actress for CLAIRE REDFIELD, not Jill Valentine, you baboon.

And this thread is dedicated about discussing the character of Jill Valentine and actresses that provided facial likeness and voice for this character.

I would highly recommend you to visit an oculist and receive a prescription of a good pair of reading glasses. And unless you have something of value to provide regarding of why our beloved Julia Voth was replaced with this no-name woman as a facial motion capture model - stop misleading people with bogus crap and read the conversation's topic at hand more carefully.

People should read things more carefully and pay more attention to specific names, just saying. Maybe my message is a bit rough but it's not false. And yes, Jill is a cool character.
