CD key location help
so back then, probably before windows 10, you were able to crossplay with xbox 360 when you play re5 (you can still do with operation raccoon city) all you needed to do was register the CD key to windowslivegames, but somehow I can't find my CD key for re5.

You could always find it by right clicking on the game and click "view CD key" but that option isn't on there anymore. With Windows update, they might have tweaked RE5, so does anyone know, or can still view their own CD key? I need help finding mine just to connect to live (it's possible, trust me)

It works without cdkey in offline mode

but GFWL is pc platform

alright I'm lost lol

I used to be able to play online in xbox360 servers in re5 on steam

I can still do that with raccoon city operation

with that information you've given me, they did had to change re5 ultimately getting rid of the cd key for some reason. That key is required for GFWL so that it can be registered and transferred to your xbox, transfering achievements to xbox and letting you play in xbox servers.

sure, I can play on Steam servers, but would like to play with friends on xbox as well (though both servers won't load progress or items you achieved in either server so it's best to back up on steam before reconnecting to windows which killed me at first)

my only problem is that I can't figure out my CD key even when GFWL is out of date and keeps crashing
