Keep Getting same arena!

Game was working fine until a few weeks ago I started getting the Norse arena every game (single player). A search in the forums found someone else with the same problem and the recommendation was to install a community content pack, which I did. Worked maybe twice, then started getting the Norse arena every single game again. Anyone else having this issue? Know how to fix it?

I think in a similar fashion to the dice its just probability really. Its not necessarily an error, its just a case of randomely getting the same stadium again and again. In a similar fashion to the dice, sometimes you get certain trends which perpetuate for a long period of time.

Seems to be so, I finally got a diffferent arena after over a dozen games!

There is a known bug whereby the same arena will be chosen each time you start the game in over 50% of cases. It seems to only affect the first game played after starting the game. If you play many games in a row, you'll see other pitches randomly. This was the case in LE (Chaos Pitch) as well as in CE (Snowy Norse Pitch). BloodBawler's awesome pitch randomizer script can be placed in your Blood Bowl install directory and it will randomise the locations of the first 7 pitches in the game. Simply run it before starting Blood Bowl each time you play. It's a small batch file and I'll upload it for you. It's also part of the amazingly awesome Blood Bowl Community Content pack that you should check out (Google it).

EDIT: I just re-read the OP and it seems that you already have the BBCC installed. Sorry. You need to run the batch file every time you play the game, else the pitches won't be mixed up. Also, make sure it's not in the data folder. It needs to be in the Blood Bowl root directory for it to work.

Thanks, I'll give that a try! I did finally get a new pitch then back to Norse arena for the next ten or so-out of about 50 games only about 5 have been in different arenas!

Same here, also the Norse arena. I returned to BB1 after several years. In the first couple of games I had different arenas but then I got stuck with Norse. After about 10 games in the Norse arena, I got one other arena but am now stuck again for the following 5 games in the Norse arena. It is a pity that this version has been completely abandoned by the developer.
