40 Second Timer

Why do I end up with 40 second turns when I never pick this as a time I'm willing to play? A 40 second timer ruins the game as I'm entirely unable to move all of my men within a turn. Is this something that the match maker just does to you after a while? If so, I hope you change this in the new game, I would rather wait longer or not play at all than get stuck in a game like this.

You could just... not pick 40 seconds as a possible time limit? Set your minimum to 2 minutes, problem solved.

Read the OP again: He said he did not pick 40 seconds as an option. And it's not the first time I've heard of this happening, it appears to be one of the bugs still stuck in this version. There was a workaround but I've got no idea what that was anymore (bug never affected me, so I didn't pay as much attention as I did to the ones I actually experienced :P).

40 secs is defaulted to on as an option unless you deselect it. To do that you need to press matchmaking then go through the timers for each team in the popup. I usually select a min of 2 mins and a max of 4.

Ahh, I did misread the OP, sorry for that.

Actually not a bug, just... really poor UI. Time options are available FOR EACH TEAM, so you'll need to click each one that you have select and choose 2-minute minimum for each of them. Why is this? Cyanide, that's why.
