Hows the m+kb controls?
I've been letting this game sit in my wishlist for a little while now because it looks like a lot of fun and can also be played single player which means I can do sillier things and goof off compared to multiplayer games. For a reference point I only have warthunder to look at as I have 100s of hours flying and am very comfortable with their m+kb controls but that's probably the most complex aircraft controls ive played with.

The keyboard and mouse controls are pretty good (after some adjustments). I find the mouse flight to be perfect, though I'd prefer it if the cursor would move in the corresponding direction depending on whether I pull back or push forward (the cursor always moves in the direction of where the aircraft's nose is going rather than the direction of the virtual joystick).

If there are some things I'd like, they'd include a dedicated button for firing the gun, as well as keybinds for setting throttle to idle/maximum and a button to manually toggle airbrakes. Sometimes, I want to have my throttle at 0% without deploying the airbrakes, which is difficult to achieve with the current setup of airbrakes automatically deploying when the pilot throttles down when RPM is at 0%.

Bear in mind that mouse flight in Nuclear Option might be unlike 'mouse flight' you've experienced in other games; in Nuclear Option, the mouse cursor simulates a virtual joystick's position. You roll and pitch your aircraft manually instead of pointing the cursor to where you want the aircraft to go and having the aircraft fly itself.

Thanks for replying! Ive used virtual joystick a bit before so I dont think ill struggle too hard with it, also I rebinded most keys from their defaults in WT anyway and was assuming id have to do keybinds here too before playing.
