Suggestion: Button to assume control of friendly aircraft after selecting them on map

I don't know about anyone else, but I really enjoy pressing play on an escalation mission and just watching the chaos unfold. Sometimes I come across friendly aircraft flying around that are either a) risking a suicide mission b) severely damaged from an altercation or c) flying in an AI 'formation' towards an objective (specifically Chicanes). I'd love to take control of one of these AI units to try and either get them to safety or to see their mission through. It would feel super badass to land a burning Compass that's missing a wing or to take part in the joint-task force assault on a beachhead as one of the Chicanes I occasionally spot flying together without having to spawn in and try to catch up just to find a field of burning scrap metal. Would also help to avoid the time it takes to take off and fly to an objective if you're feeling impatient.
