Not that I know of, it can be somewhat guessed by the rate of fire as you shoot, it will start slowing down as it heats up.

Fly the Tarantula faster for better cooling, shoot in controlled bursts, and you will generally be able to keep shooting indefinitely, at least until ammo runs out.

it is displayed in the outside view, the more it smokes, the hotter it is
