Weapon release cam?
This is a great little DCS-lite game you've got going on here, tons of fun and immersive/realistic enough. Kept me obsessed all weekend.

Since it has other DCS features -- any chance for a weapons release cam? It would be good to see things from the weapons POV, like in DCS and some other games.

LOL "DCS-lite". This game doesn't have any DCS DNA in its veins. It's practically an anti-DCS. Although there seems to be a bunch of us DCS players wandering over here and having a good time, which is awesome.

The weapon view would be nice, though, as would snap views until/if/when VR gets added. The row of function keys is taken up by debug commands instead of view commands, a shame :)

That feature would be really cool to have, specially considering how satisfying the damage/physics look in this game.

Well, true enough, my label was sort of a joke (glad it got a laugh!), but true in that this game seems to actually do what the quick battle or canned battle scenarios attempted to do in DCS, which is make things fun and easy to jump into. So many times in DCS, I wanted to just jump into a big battle and do my thing, but the spooling up process, and getting shot down too early, sort of harshes that experience.

This game was initially a bit frustrating, for sure isn't easy, but is compelling in a way that keeps us DCSers around -- pretty impressive.

Its not a badge of honor and you don't need to repeatedly self identify for us. You did are not flying a real airplane sir, but regardless thank you for your service.

Not sure what your problem is... You have an issue with DCS, and are using that, presumably, as a negative label for other players? Are you being funny here, or obnoxious? Triggered?

Back to the request -- Weapons view a la DCS -- which came first and simulates everything. So yes, this is DCS-lite.

A little note, I noticed that if you click on a flying weapon while in spectator mode, camera does track the weapon. Does not work while you are piloting though.

You can follow the missile but you have to be a spectator , clock on the small triangle on the map overlay and it will follow the missile, you can't really while in game but in the cockpit you can just keep the target selected on the target and watch it explodes

I agree. I suspect it's the same person who jestered me, and probably the same person with the smart-ass anti-DCS comments. Jerks gonna jerk.

I gave you some just now too. I appreciated your answer, I didn't know you could click on the map for... a whole bunch of things.
