I agree. The map is good for stand-off attacks, not so great once you are in the action.
I made a post about it but no reactions. :-/
Also, even if the map was usable for me, i'm flying on my HOTAS and i'd have to reach for mouse everytime. Just gimme cycle target pls... It's a usual feature of combat sims and space shooters. Dunno why Nuclear Option couldn't have it.
Disable whatever axis is bound to the map scroll options under camera in bindings.
At first it seemed like that fixed it. Then i played some more, and the map started scrolling by itself again. I have no clue what to do now.
The only thing mapped to map scroll is IKJL (in the WSAD way). I up K down etc...
There has to be a bug..
I still think it's a bug with Nuclear Option, though. Never happens anywhere else.
I marked your comment as the topic answer, but then i realized we're not under my dedicated post about that issue, we're under "add cycle target" request. Sooo, not a topic answer, but you still helped. So thanks!
About the calibration - both Frontier Pilot Simulator and Nuclear Option only utilized Throttle lever from the 50% to 100% position in default post-installation state (from the mid point forward). So that's why i needed to calibrate the axis. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.
