Nuclear Option

Nuclear Option

Please add "cycle target" or "next target" button.
Sometimes it's tough to select the correct target, when there's a bunch of enemy assets clumped together. So a dedicated button that would allow me to cycle from one target to the other would be great! Thanks!

yea but would be much faster and effective to have designated buttons

I agree. The map is good for stand-off attacks, not so great once you are in the action.

I didn't know you could target on the map. That's useful, thanks.

The map showcases the beauty of the datalink. If it's in the datalink, it's on the map. If it's in the map, you can target it or move friendlies.

The maps great but a cycle target button would be incredible since its next to impossible to target some sites due to other map markers covering them

The map is unusable to me - i have a weird glitch - anytime i open the map it starts wildly scrolling to the side. I can barely use it to pick an airport - it's like a mini arcade game to actually hit it with my mouse cursor.
I made a post about it but no reactions. :-/
Also, even if the map was usable for me, i'm flying on my HOTAS and i'd have to reach for mouse everytime. Just gimme cycle target pls... It's a usual feature of combat sims and space shooters. Dunno why Nuclear Option couldn't have it.
PLus One.

Disable whatever axis is bound to the map scroll options under camera in bindings.

I wasn't using scroll axis at all. And i already disabled map scroll buttons from my hotas hatswitch.
At first it seemed like that fixed it. Then i played some more, and the map started scrolling by itself again. I have no clue what to do now.
The only thing mapped to map scroll is IKJL (in the WSAD way). I up K down etc...
There has to be a bug..

Well, one way to find out is to unplug all of your USBs except KB/M and boot up the game and see if that makes a difference. Maybe even unplug KB/M after the game starts and you get the map up.

Thx, i'm gonna try that. But it would be the first such case. I got the most baseline hotas ever, Thrustmaster T.Flight X. Never had major issues with it. With one exception - and that's that Unity games need to calibrate the throttle axis, but that's about it. (Which i already did in N.O.)

I have the exact same joystick. I don't have to do any of those calibrations, though. I doubt your USBs are the problem, but we are scientific so we eliminate the things we can rule out ourselves. It's not unheard of that some USB control over-rides another. If anything, the unplug-plug in exercise forces you to check your physical connections. It's happened to me a couple of times where that was the culprit.

Thanks, it helped! I tried to unplug/replug the joystick mid-game and the map finally stopped scrolling away.
I still think it's a bug with Nuclear Option, though. Never happens anywhere else.
I marked your comment as the topic answer, but then i realized we're not under my dedicated post about that issue, we're under "add cycle target" request. Sooo, not a topic answer, but you still helped. So thanks!
About the calibration - both Frontier Pilot Simulator and Nuclear Option only utilized Throttle lever from the 50% to 100% position in default post-installation state (from the mid point forward). So that's why i needed to calibrate the axis. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.

The throttle problem you have shouldn't happen. There's a switch on the back of your HOTAS - hey, that's going to be my next pickup line! But no, really, there's a switch back there, ensure it's fully on PC and not PS3. My guess.
