May I also add that the commander should be able to see unit radar ranges, assign targets and plot paths to player planes.
Not fond of the idea of putting too many tools in the hands of the commander tho, I've seen it in games like Savage, Nuclear Front and Natural Selection 2 (yeah I have a type), and it can bring too big a difference between a team with a good and a bad commander, plus it makes the whole role unnaproachable from a gameplay standpoint once some players have acquired some skill on it. It's a double edged sword IMO.
I'd love to have your thoughts on that
Of course it has to be balanced but i would like to setup orders for specific vehicles ive noticed im just losing some areas because the ai is not producing vehicles in the right order or they dont move them close enough to the front :'D i would love to control that
