Weight-on-Wheels (WoW) indicate whether the weight of an aircraft is resting on its wheels. This information reveals whether the aircraft is airborne or on the ground. Air/ground sensing prevents various systems from operating inappropriately on the ground or in flight.
In reality, when the Weight-on-Wheels sensor detects that the aircraft is on the ground, it will lock the landing gear and prevent it from being retracted.
Currently the game will detect if you retract the landing gear on the ground and punish you, which means there is already the Weight-on-Wheels sensor in the game. So why not make it like reality and stop the mistake from happening?
