Setting up my HOTAS

I've got a WinWing Orion 2 HOTAS setup and some rudder pedals and I'm trying to figure out how to actually get them all set up. When I'm in the controls, I can't get any of the inputs to detect and in game it keeps constantly acting as if I'm holding down on the scroll wheel or something. I'm just confused how the heck I get my stuff set up to play this game.

I'm having the same problem, my joystick is Thrustmaster T 16000M and I can't get my buttons to work, the axis's work OK. I also get the scroll problem in the set-up menu, it constantly scrolls upwards. I'm thinking of getting a refund before I reach the 2 hour limit.

thrustmaster T16000m and I can't get the throttle to work with my slider, I've recalibrated with slider at zero, I've played with the sensitiviety but it just makes my max throttle at 50%

Hoping I can help here. First, make sure that all the functions for the HOTAS work in windows properly. In game, go into each controller listing, in the top of the bindings window, and clear all axis and buttons. Then add them back one at a time. You must select the correct controller at the top for it to see your inputs when mapping. Mine lists the VKT TRudder as the first controller, I select it then go down and clear all axis and buttons from that list of functions. Then I click on Yaw Axis and when the countdown says to move the axis, I move the rudder pedals.

When you first start the game up, it loads all axis and most buttons to stick, throttle, and pedals if I have them. That is why I just clear them all out manually and start fresh.

Also, don't forget to turn off the virtual mouse setting in the main settings screen.

Like he said above (helped me too) clear the defaults out, calibrate it and to get my TWCS (throttle part) I played around with the invert settings. I got on the runway... went back and forth to settings and played around with the invert. I also recommend to disable the mouse/virtual joystick if you have a HOTAS. I was super frustrated too but figured it out and my throttle and Stick work great.
