THIS MAN SPEAKS THE TRUTH. At first, the game (AND YES, I had Physx drivers installed for other games) did refuse to initialize. I uninstalled the current driver, and installed the one the OP linked us to. The game now works without a hitch. Thank you Deftones440 :)

Sadly I can't get these drivers, be it legacy or not, to work. I have 9.12.1031 legacy installed but the game still complains of an incorrect version of Physx. As for those installers, either I run into a 'failed script' error or it refuses to install period. My system is beyond capable of playing it but I'm not sure if I can go back very far with the drivers because of my card being recent (GTX680 Lightning).
