Doesn't seem to work in Windows 10

This game requires an up to date version of Ageia PhysX and associated DLLs. Please install latest PhysX runtime.

SYSTEM:
CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz (4 cores)
DirectX : 12.0
Memory : 8124 MB
Physics : normal

Anyone got a fix?

Hm, odd. Last time I tried, it said I already had the latest, yet that worked. Thanks :)

Yes I installed that phys x Legacy driver 9.12.10.31....works perfect now, thanks a lot. Its the latest version of the Legacy physx. You need it as well as the phys x you get with your nv driver. If you are having problems just make sure you have latest drivers, windows updated and then install the driver ticticta provided the link for, worked for me. The driver in the support folder is older(7.11.13)

btw im on windows 10

ps its a nice little game..impressed

I just can't quite grasp why the wrong PhysX version is bundled with this game ...

I have been having issues as well, getting the physx error.

It seems you need both the latest legacy drivers (as linked to above and in the sticky) and the latest regular drivers, which you can find by clicking NVIDIA PsysX System Software on this link[www.nvidia.com].

Because it's a general physics engine responsible for all the physics in game calculated on CPU, no the hardware accelerated select effects calculated on cuda cores, like HAVOK. Used by lots of games, built in Unreal Engine by default, more modern games just have all the resources self contained within the game since physx 3 or so. Will people learn it already? It's been used without your knowledge for ages.

If you get a black screen after startup and never get any further, give this a shot. I assume this is because I have a 21:9 ultrawide panel, but it may work for others as well.

Edit the file ...\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando Rearmed\data\settings\renderer_settings.xml

In there, you'll see something like this:

<renderer_config> <d3d_device adapter="NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti" resolution="3440 1440" refresh_rate="60" windowed="false" /> </renderer_config>

Simply edit the resolution= to something tame like resolution="1920 1080" and edit the windowed parameter to true. (windowed="true") Resave the file and launch the game. It should fire up in windowed mode and allow you to set everything from within the game.

Hope that helps someone

Awesome mate - I was having this issue and it sorted my problem. Thanks so much for sharing!

I wonder if you have also experienced a problem I'm having with hacking - there are no objects inside the cube for me - they just aren't being displayed. Anyone got a fix for that? Guess it's not so critical to the game. Or is it?
