Game wont start

what a bummer, I loved this game back on the NES and was really looking forward to playing it.
I click play and it loads for a second then stops and the play button turns green again. I tried running as Admin and even running in Win7 compatibility mode but nothing. The game just wont start.

Ok I found solution. Hire https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Bionic_Commando_Rearmed
Is new bcr.exe file. Also you need install Nvidia PhysX Legacy System Software.

Don't know if this will help you, but running the original Bionic Commando automatically installed the Nvidia PhysX Legacy stuff this game needs.

After following all the steps at PCGamingWiki, the game boots but just sits at a black screen :(

Edit: I was trying to run it at 3440x1440; changing the res to 2560x1440 fixed it.

I was trying to run it an ultrawide resolution, and it didn't like that. Make sure to run it at 16:9 like the resolution I previously mentioned, or 1080p/4k

download and install the old physx software and that should do it.
