i tried everything
i installed like any nvidia driver i could find,if you want link what worked for you,it just did not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work,i even tried the latest legacy drivers to no avail
please for the love of god help

When I was using an I7-2600 (4/8) the game worked with physx 9.15.0428. (Today I use a ryzen 7 2700 (8/16) and so I needed to modify bcr.exe)
I did that:
Install PhysX 9.15.0428, put the game executable (bcr.exe) into windows xp sp 3 compatibility mode, but after the game runs 1 time, and I adjust the resolution, no need more compatibility mode.

ok so i tried it but to no avail,same ♥♥♥♥

Uninstall all Physx drivers. Go to Nvidia and download latest version and install. Launch game in Windows 7 compatibility mode

If your processor has more than 6 cores or has 6 cores and you have SMT/HT enabled the won't start - It only supports at most 8 logical cores

To fix this, disable SMT/HT and also cores so that you stay with only 4 physical cores enabled

I've downloaded the exe in that answer and it worked perfectly on my Ryzen 7 3800x without disabling cores or SMT - but if you're weary of doenloading then disableing is your only option
