Steam is good for giving us an alternative to bad hardware, its bad at everything else. Also there's tons of great games they could be bringing out to steam, but instead its just what comes out this month. They have some good stuff and classics here and there, but most of the time they just wanna sell and support the new flavor of the month or CSGO.
Bad place for console gaming fans like me really is, cuz the whole community is dominated by sophisticated PC fans who cant believe you thought portal was dull *GASP*
Portal wasn't dull at all. It introduced a fascinating mechanic to videogames and made very interesting choices regarding plot develpment.
Now you say you are a console gamer, OK that's good if you like to partake sides. I absolutely love my Nintendo Switch and I also have PS4 and still I love playing in PC but because of convenience not sophistication. I still can play a lot of my old games without having to unplug my new console to connect an old sometimes quite worn out device to a modern TV while in PC yeah you have to mess and tinker but in the end is a hassle worth doing for being able to play in the same device playing the same games you bought 10 years ago without doble dipping and without worring for HUge install sizes in tiny HDD or super slow donwload servers. If you can't manage tinkering that's your fault.
Also Steam doesn't bring games like Sony or Microsoft do, publishers bring games to Steam it's their choice. The same goes to support in bugs and glitches you have refund options.
Find it impossible to believe regarless if steam is good or sucks really has anything to do with having BCR2 via steam, but what ever dude ;p
It does have a lot to do with why they wont make BC RE2, because steam, valve, and the community of PC gamers thumb there noses at anyone who started gaming shooting ducks and grabbing mushrooms. You might not see it, I see it everyday the way people treat each other on this horrid place.
Portals not a bad game, but if I thought it was dull, who cares? I played enough of it, its a puzzle game where you shoot portals in walls, great, very exciting..
Steam is just a marketplace owned by Valve. They don't really curate anything; that's kind of the single most known attribute of Steam, thanks to people like Jim Sterling. They don't seek to publish games and they don't stop ones from being published. All they do (or at least attempt to do) is remove anything except asset pack, fake games, and they still haven't even figured that out yet.

Nintendo doesn't make PC games because they want their games exclusively on their consoles. The publishers (e.g. Nintendo) are the ones that control where their games are published. Valve has nothing to do with it. Capcom is the publisher when it comes to Rearmed 2, and they don't seem to be interested, probably due to their past and current porting ethos.

Like I said earlier, it seems more likely that both Bionic Commando games didn't do well on PC. They will only port a game if a large amount of people want it, and at the time they only port games after the consolve version is finished. It takes time and money to port a game so that it can run on different systems, with massive failures of little effort ports being not uncommon. As for why they haven't gone back for Rearmed 2 Capcom seems to have cut their losses on less popular games like Bionic Commando. Right now they seem to be focusing on simultaneous releases with older ports being exclusive to popular or marketable games like Okami or Dragon's Dogma to ensure profit, so that games. That's probably why Resident Evil 4 was ported twice while Godhand was ignored.

Okay, I have to know. Did you ever actually read anything that at the time seemed to present a logical reason to blame Valve, or do you typically just villainize the entity that isn't making games you like? Did you do any research before you started yelling at clouds on the internet?
Happens all the time, but there is soooo many games out there that have iron clad contracts in digital right we will never see them published on steam platform due to it's Exclusivity. If the world didn't have those rights and for good reason, the economy would collapse.
No I dont wanna read your ♥♥♥♥, nor do I care.
Really think I'm gonna read all that? I got more important things to do with my time, but I know one thing. Its not the PC games that suck, its the community, of little posers ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who think they're special cuz they scroll and click.
I've played many good pc games, I've played literally hundreds and hundreds or classic console games since I was 6, if steam wants to shoot themselves in the foot, alienating console gamers would be a good way to blast off all 5 toes.
Seriously, are you even capable of rational thought? Do you understand anything about what you are screaming on the internet about?
Do you not realize that you are going to spend more time here continuing to yell about how you aren't going to spend time here and/or wasting energy riling yourself up to be incorrectly angry at something you do not understand if you don't calmly educate yourself?
Ooops! Sorry All caps. To lazy to change it ;p
I have read some disappointment about this game from BCR1 fans.
