Played for an hour game is garbage

-game has no gameplay you pretty much just point and click
-hundreds of currencies and bloat
-extremely pay to win if you don't have the good monsters you are screwed
-the game is sluggish
-you can't move and attack at the same time
-runes
-controls are clunky


It's like the devs set out to make the most predatory game possible and forgot to make the game actually fun. They didn't learn from Summoner's War Lost Centuria I guess. Didn't get to the NFT's but I don't care I already uninstalled the game.

it not to force you to pay it? honestly you can play it without pay. i am 46 and 20 rank i dont pay anything. you getting free scrolls from events you can get pull out 4 stars monsterseasy

monsters cannot be bought directly.
had you actually played for an hour you would have gotten a 5* of your choice for free.
pretty sure there is only 3 main currencies.
maybe if you pay way too much you might win?
game is smooth even on my steam deck
you can play this like darksouls if you really want, but if you gonna just play actual darksouls scrublord.

You clearly haven't played. There is a $99 Water Ifrit you can buy as soon as you open the game.

Yeah... That DOESNT give you the ifrit it gives you 100 mystical scrolls... and a bunch of other exclusive stuff but not the ifrit itself. which by the way you can get a lot of those scrolls just by playing the game, and if after burning 200 free scrolls... you get your "99 dollar mon" for free.

Lastly since research is not your strong suit, Mystical scrolls can be bought for 99 cents each and wouldnt you know it... 100 of them would equal around say 99 dollars....

Well that is even worse. So you play $99 and don't even get a guaranteed *5 monster.

Correct. you actually pay no money and get a couple of guaranteed 5* mons, one of which is your choice. Water ifrit is on increased droprate event right now so if somehow you didnt get it in 100 scrolls you will sympathy draw it on your 200th

course i got it on my 30th free scroll give or take? along with 5* water archangel, 5* wind magic knight, 5* red joker. all free... an assortment of 7 other 4*s a couple of redaws among them.

I would agree with some of your complaints, but it isn't pay to win. Nothing is gated behind multiplayer like lost ark or diablo immortal, so you don't even have to be a slave to leaderboards and meta. Definitely pay-to-chase-leaderboards tho

controls can be a bit clunky, there is some frustration for me as well with brief animation lock while attacking, so also the attack and move critique has validity - but your monsters can attack while you move so at least something is happening.

But the big picture in my opinion, this game is really casual, if you work 50-60-70 hours a week but love gaming and leveling stuff up but don't have the time and/or mental energy to play direct, this game can be played like an idle through a majority of content. This is HUGE for many folks, and is a WHOOSH over the heads of what I'm assuming are younger gamers who have tons of time to directly interact with the game.

tldr - if you are the kind of person who enjoys idle and/or incremental games, this will check a bunch of boxes for you and feel free to check it out, bearing in mind you do not have to spend a dime, although that's always subject to change depending on the devs, but I haven't hit any paywalls yet at all.

1) not everything can be bought with money most of it can be.
2)5* are not buy able.
3) there is auto play, but you don't not have to use it, you can totally manually play the game.
4) only saw 10 ?
5)You didn't even hit full pvp till later with battlefield also arena is locked in the middle of game play even then by that time you should have 5* monsters.. Also some of those trash monsters are actually pretty good and worth 5* out you can make a 5* easy every day with the dungeon. Just because you didn't get the top nesh monster doesn't make or break the game. Also the game is pretty much pve

Don't get me wrong not defending the game because it is a mobile game and there is predatory habits in it. However I would say so far this game is a step up to many of the other mobile games out there that have gacha in it, that doesn't mean it don't deserve a well thought out review.

After act 5 than it becomes p2w to progress, 5 star monsters are weak with out skill ups.
f2p better off using 4 - 3 star monsters. At best you can only focus one 5 star monster to get skill ups which can take weeks. And i doubt i be playing over an month. farm becomes almost non existence when you complete your quests and finish your monster book. Which is bad for an mmorpg, now it feels like a mobile gacha game that uses energy consumption. Skystones are very limited can only get like 8,000 a day after you got your stones from monster book.
Its only has a good rating cause their a lot of summoners war sky arena fans
