Yes, master does need a ton of stuff from cooking 7 too though.

also how do you get alchemy up? its very hard for me to craft runes due to the faint magic core

3* runes have to be crafted, the 4* can be farmed from the respective path of adventure 6. You can get feint magic cores from leaving game on auto farm overnight.

any good spots to get feint magic cores? I drop like 1 per 1hour its really bothersome

Tesca on a server with no one around and wind Griffon or water Harg 2nd skill auto, Ayah if you want blue as well. Whichever you can one shot would have better gains but no higher tier ones, but higher tiers ones pollute drop pool of lower tiers. Make sure you don't have focus target on.
