The vast majority of 'christians' whining in these discussions are from the usa and this is easily proven by just looking at how undereducated they are about their own faith or the rest of the world in general.
"Christians" and "USA" are supposed to be capitalized. But please, go on and tell us about how educated you are.
Usania.
Are you telling me ppl from the bible belt are actually not educated about the bible?
As a former christian I can find almost no criticism of the man himself; his words are by in large compassionate and elegant. Those that devote themselves to his teachings are surely on a good path. Feed the hungry, succor the sick, love others and you love yourself. Great stuff.
But that's only like 5% of Christianity. at least in the US sphere, and certainly the least focused upon. Instead we get pommeled in the public places and chambers of law with the perverse morality of an angry desert demon that sees women as possessions, obsession about individual lines [often out of context] in the personal correspondence of a man that never even met Jesus, and centuries of oral tradition made by, and for, the priesthood to shield themselves from scrutiny and civic obligation.
Of my Christian friends and co-workers I have yet to meet a single one that knew the parable of the sheep and goats, or the wheat and tares. But all of them knew the apocryphal bs explanation of 'the eye of the needle' being about a gate in Jerusalem.
And he made a lot of awful threats.
Not the worst guy in the world, but *definitely* not the perfect being.
Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it. Those who do not study the source material for the endeavors they pursue are doomed to fail at achieving proficiency in that sphere. Those who follow the crowd, be it religious or not, instead of their own conscience are doomed to question themselves.
I am a spiritual person, I believe in a great many things, but I would quote a movie whose words might give context and meaning to others here. The movie is called "Kingdom of Heaven."
The movie quotes:
"I put no stock in religion. By the word religion, I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of God. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves... and goodness."
And . . .
"Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom [as in chess], your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice."
As such . . .
those two quotes mean the world to me, both in my day to day ruminations and in giving context to whatever I may be told or might read, be it "holy" or not. One can argue that the quotes are against the doctrine, "faith not works," but in that case I would draw attention to the concept of the term "Christian" being "little Christ," and repentance being a repercussion of genuine faith that there is goodness out there, and that attempting to emulate it is a worthy lifetime endeavor.
Mind you, to me he's the likely-real eponymous founder of a philosophy not a divinity. I hold him to the same light as Confucius, Aristotle or Buddha. Huge impacts. Very wise. But not perfect. The best Abrahamism has to offer certainly.
Parables and Sermons is more where it's at, tbh. And the 'excluded' stuff... most of that is in the same vein - solid moral philosophy, disdain for the matters of the flesh etc just not as pro-clergy as others [looking at you Thomas].

if 2 men fighting and wife one of them grab her husband private area. she is not helping him she want him to get killed.
can any man fight with someone grabbing very sensitive area?
its will hurt him so much that he lost control and get killed.
so that woman is a cheater trying to get her lover ( the other man ) to kill her husband.
you know why? because she was watching her husband winning the fight against her lover that she want to help her lover she done something very weird that she grab her husband's D**** in middle of a fight.
this is why i don't want to be a Christian or Atheists because both of them are very lost and lazy.
another thing is some part of Bible are missing some other parts are distorted.
quit Twitter and Reddit all of you. stop watching the things you are watching. reset your life and start brain exercises. and the most important thing is get better friends.
