Loved it!
Instead, Hameln runs a side business focused on human experimentation and uses the spooky paranormal stuff as a cover so nobody suspects what's actually going on.
The "demon" that we encounter is actually a mutant cloned from Rebecca's DNA that is controlled by Hameln.
My guess as to why they targeted Rebecca is because she unknowingly possessed psychic powers and they have her hooked up to some machine and use the machine to generate the Amanda the Adventurer show in real time, with an additional feature to allow her to access prior recordings of the show and manipulate them remotely.
The whole point of the show is to manipulate the minds of its viewers and trick them into running away so Hameln, or a company affiliated with it, can grab them and bring them in to use them as lab experiments
Oh, and Wooly is an A.I. program designed to keep Rebecca company and to prevent her from questioning her role in the show. The poor thing has become self-aware and is torn between its programming and its sense of right and wrong.
All of the objects with eyes on them are mere extensions of the Wooly A.I. and are run simultaneously.
"I actually think it displays how Wooly is not super important to the story of the game over-all.
One thing I noticed in the lore tapes especially the interviews or mentioning of Sam is Wooly is not mentioned once anywhere. I think Sam's creation of Amanda did not have Wooly at all and Wooly was an addition made by Hamlin.
Cause how would Wooly even work in live-action (original Amanda) with a super small budget?
So without Amanda, Wooly literally has nothing to do... but sit there... he's a reactive character.
Could be wrong but that was one of my take aways."
Planning on taking over the world?
They dont like children?
