Still got phantom enemies?
1. I know y'all said that some enemies are not appearing under the thread what is killing me. I just died to a spider that was not on the map in the desert.
2. Also do the zeds get tougher with the meta progression? It seems like the more upgrades I buy the tougher the zombies get.

Have you tried a solo run during which you are only allowed to take stats upgrades on level up? So you have only your level 1 weapon and no abilities. I did it once with Swat on stage 1, and it went surprisingly easy (well, maybe not super easy but also not hard as I did it on my first try). My danger level was very low all the time. Seems to me that the horde evolution/danger level is tied to things like number of team members/level of weapons/number of abilities. I don't know if it has anything to do with meta progression.

Mam I hope not. That would be terrible game design.

As for #1 I just played a game where my shadow just struck an invisible enemy with his katana. No enemies were on the map around him yet damaged numbers appeared and the shadow lashed out with his katana. As everyone knows, if no enemies are in range the katana strike is not made. So I guess phantom enemies still exist.

2. As for this observation, I am truly perplexed. Perhaps there is a bug. BTW I am not talking about the horde evolving and getting stronger. I am talking about spending upgrade points and the results seem to indicate the more powerful my characters are due to increases in upgrades, the stronger the enemies are in response. I have some more testing to do but if this a game design it is a deal breaker and ruins what would otherwise be a great game.

And because of what I think I am seeing, this makes the zombiepedia information incorrect.

Sorry about the invisible enemies, the most important fix for that wasn't implemented yet (will be available soon).

The enemies don't increase in strength an inch on the player's meta progression - it's the player who gets stronger, not the other way around. We may implement a system to make zombies stronger in some way through meta progression, but it will be a deliberate choice on the part of the player to make the game harder and/or more rewarding.

Which Zombiepedia information do you see as incorrect?

Please take into account that I said these are just apparent observations and I don't claim it to be absolute fact.

As far as the zombiepedia, lets take the basic zombie. The HP is listed at 120 I think but my shadow was hitting them for 178 damage and they were still standing.

But I will do more testing and try to provide screenshots.

Yes, the stats in Zombiepedia are the base stats. Every other map and different game modes have additional, static bonuses to the Horde's strength to make them more challenging and to encourage player's meta-progression.

Gotcha chief, that explains it. Thanks.
