Trying to find potatoes with a bloated item pool

So, for the past few days I've just been hunting for potatoes to unlock the sanji achievement, and it's driving me nuts. I've unlocked almost all other achievements so my item pool is very bloated. I have the upgrade tree maxed out so I have max banishes and refreshes but I've never gotten more than 2 potatoes in a run as it's pure rng. At this point I'm not even killing zombies anymore, I'm just running rings around the map waiting for chests to respawn in hopes a potato shows up. Today I started resetting the map if the first chest doesn't have a potato in it, and even then I've still never gotten more than 2.

This problem is only going to get worse in future updates as more items are added to the pool. I have a few recommendations on how to ease this problem.

a. Allows you to remove items from the pool before going into a match, not all of them but say reducing he total number of items to a fixed number like 20 or something. basically prematch banishing. You could even have this cost money to banish each item, it would give players a use for money once they max out the upgrade tree.

b. give us another item selection option (like reroll and banish) that guarantees or at least increases the chances of receiving an item that we pick in future chests. This would also help builds that try and stack a specific item like dodge or lifesteal.

c. make rerolls/banishes more available, either increasing the number we get from upgrades or giving us pickups or something in game (similar to health/buff pickups) that gives us more of them.

Just wanted to get this out of my system as it's quite frustrating right now. And now back to potato hunting I go.

As long as you keep brushing the endless mode, if two potatoes randomly appear, the remaining one can be re selected and brushed 8 times. It's easy to see them. Also, do you know where the location of the three potato bunnies is

what do you mean by brushing? I've just been doing normal mode since it's easier to avoid zombies while searching for chests.

and as I understand it the bunnies show up in the windows of buildings around the edges of the map after you get 3 potatoes but I haven't gotten that far.

Btw. is it on both maps or jsut the new one?

And yeah I agree getting potatoes is really hard when you have unlocked almost everything

There's one bunny on the top side of the map. Is appers once you collect 3 potatos. Stay close to the building and aim at bunny to let game know you see him.

Just managed to get it. keep using banish for potato to appear in the next few chest.

wait, I'm still confused, how do you guarantee the potato to appear in more chests? Even if I use all 6 banishes there are still a ton of items in the pool and the chances of the potato showing up are still low. Is there something I'm missing?

Sadly you cannot guarantee Potato (or anything else) to appear in chests, banish and reroll just increase your chances but they are still low. I just had 3 endless runs over 30 mins and got no more than 1 potato each even after using all my banishing and rerolls. And these were just my last attempts of course, I did several other runs with no luck. I never got more than 2 potatoes now i got a bit tired since I also have the fireworks achievement bug. It's sheer luck.

We need 4th selection option for chests even more than we need it for level-ups.

You cant. That dude above was just ultra lucky and now giving "advices", thats all. Yesterday i spent literally 7 hours trying to get potatoes with all banishes, rerols, pulling more rerols and banishes from chests, but never got third one.

Its pure rng. I remember i had 3 potatoes at first map when i didnt had most stuff unlocked (and didnt knew what they were for)... that was quite easy to get it back then, but the more stuff you unlock, the more luck based this become. At this point its basically impossible unless you super lucky and tbh i am tired of trying it anymore.

The bloated item pool is my biggest gripe with the game so far. The game really needs more banishes and/or a seal option similar to VS.

They (3 of them in a single run) are needed to "find" Sanji and unlock the achievement. I hope this is getting a rework soon, and that Potato will get some other use other than the Sanji thing. EG it could give, say, +5% exp and +5 heal/s, otherwise it becomes completely useless when/if one gets the achievement.

Give potato a hidden boost that makes potato, and only potato, much, MUCH more common.
to the point where it should be nearly guaranteed to get 3 potatoes in a row, or at least in like 5 chests total.

Played endless mode for 30 minutes got 0 potato, died
played endless mode for 25 minutes got 0 potato, died
Always using all banished first, and then all rellor after. Got most achievement
Are we players being punished for playing game to long, so that we can not get this achievement compared to new players?
