lost all progress

anyone else lost all progress in the game, i was level 50ish and now back to 0 with nothing unlocked. any suggestions? all ive done is enable the beta branch, turned beta off to test and still same - no progress

Thanks for the reply, just checked that and i have no backup files.

i only have the file called 'YAZSGameSave_20230620_01.es3'
date modified is 21/07

i have loaded the game since then but suspect the 21/07 date was when i switched to the beta branch and it can no longer access the save file? and presumably is unable to create a new file - although i havent actually started into a run since i saw my progress was wiped so maybe nothing to save.

opening the file in notepad++ it does show my data for kills / unlock levels / complete levels so looks like the game just cannot see or read the file?

Same here... I only have 1 file.... And to think I played 12hours straight, getting all done b4 the new releases.

A bug is one thing ....to waste user's time like this vanishing its progress... its disgraceful. Will not play again.

i loaded the game up again yesterday and it had all my progress as before and when i came straight out the game without playing it there was then a backup file as well. so very strange...

EA and trying the beta? So quit because your progress was lost? Stick to the core game, beta is literally that, beta. Beta will load a different file, which in turn, can overwrite the original and erase all content. Not usually something that can be help when dealing with different builds of a game. But, way to chastise it based on your limited knowledge of programming. Everyone that played the demo, lost their progress too, I lost 53 hours. As an EA title, stick to the core release unless you want to risk losing your progress to play what could possibly be an unstable beta release. You wasted your own time.
