We build the game as a single-player experience first, similar to most games in its genre. In the near future when it will be ready to alter the course of history with its awesome gameplay loop, it's quite possible, that we'll work on an online mode.
Thing with co-op part is that it isn't as easy to do, as some might think. It takes not only tons of coding work, but also designing, testing & troubleshooting. Especially the online part of it. You'll have to adapt to an endless number of hardware configurations communicating with each other, while trying to send positions of hundrets of bullets and enemies on screen without too much lag and desync issues.
Let's just say we want you guys to enjoy the game sooner than later ✌
I've enjoyed the demo of this though I can't see how to get past the 6-minute mark. The screen is completely flooded by that point, you don't appear to have any dash-movement abilities to escape or put space between your squad and bosses, and I'm just overwhelmed around that mark every time.
I agree its not a simple fix/thing to do, and I LOVE this, love all the bullet hell stuff, but nobody HAS done co-op for them yet (that I know of?) so would be a great feature! :D
There're a few "survivors-like" with co-op, sometimes local only (as Monsters 'til Midnight), sometimes online only (as Valkyrie Champions), and a few times, both (as Outer Terror). The more, the merrier!
Wait, what? Four people doing that isn't fun, but one people doing that is? What kind of logic is that.
You're right that it's the same gameplay, but your argument is "the gameplay is bad and therefore shouldn't be coop" and following that logic there shouldn't be single player either because it's the same gameplay.
And I disagree with you. Having 4 choppers raining hell is 4x more fun than having 1.
Next time, read the game description before you buy anything. Also, this is a Vampire Survivor clone, and the genre is not about co-op. It is a single player rouge-lite concept. Imho coop would just ruin the point.
