Thanks for showing interest

We build the game as a single-player experience first, similar to most games in its genre. In the near future when it will be ready to alter the course of history with its awesome gameplay loop, it's quite possible, that we'll work on an online mode.

Thing with co-op part is that it isn't as easy to do, as some might think. It takes not only tons of coding work, but also designing, testing & troubleshooting. Especially the online part of it. You'll have to adapt to an endless number of hardware configurations communicating with each other, while trying to send positions of hundrets of bullets and enemies on screen without too much lag and desync issues.

Let's just say we want you guys to enjoy the game sooner than later ✌

Bummer to hear this won't include co op... I hardly buy single player games these days.. to be frankly honest, I can't remember the last time I even played a singleplayer game. I think not even adding local co op was a big mistake for a game beloved by so many. Who cares what other games in its 'genre' are you guys where different because it was CO OP, now its literally become another run of the mill pick it up, play it once, forget about it game.:steamfacepalm:

Thing of it is, imho, unless they add an optional manual firing option for your main character (see Greedland demo's take on this rapidly overcrowded genre) that lets the game feel a bit more like a twin-stick shooter, there's just no point to online co-op. You're just moving around gobbling pellets like in a Pac-Man game while you auto-fire. Four people doing that at the same time just isn't fun or interesting imho, there's no tactics involved -- you could just gobble snacks with your right hand while moving around with your left :)

I've enjoyed the demo of this though I can't see how to get past the 6-minute mark. The screen is completely flooded by that point, you don't appear to have any dash-movement abilities to escape or put space between your squad and bosses, and I'm just overwhelmed around that mark every time.

+1 for local co-op.

Seriously, not even local co-op? Yet Another Zombie Defense HD had both local and online co-op. Even the original had online co-op. Its the only way I played it due to fun factor with friends. I got excited to see a new one and almost told my friends but pure single player is a no-go for me.

+1 for co-op, I fully appreciate the difficulty, maybe as a DLC or something with enough interest? I suppose you could simply halve the exp gems so whenever it drops one it goes like red > blue > red etc, so each person gets 50% of the total exp, so the power creep wouldn't be crazy etc.

I agree its not a simple fix/thing to do, and I LOVE this, love all the bullet hell stuff, but nobody HAS done co-op for them yet (that I know of?) so would be a great feature! :D

Same series kido. Look at their portfolio. This isn't their first "Yet Another Zombie" game and the others all have co-op. Read my first comment one more time.

Really hoping for some form of co-op as well along the line, at least local, as it requires less work.

There're a few "survivors-like" with co-op, sometimes local only (as Monsters 'til Midnight), sometimes online only (as Valkyrie Champions), and a few times, both (as Outer Terror). The more, the merrier!

Wait, what? Four people doing that isn't fun, but one people doing that is? What kind of logic is that.
You're right that it's the same gameplay, but your argument is "the gameplay is bad and therefore shouldn't be coop" and following that logic there shouldn't be single player either because it's the same gameplay.

And I disagree with you. Having 4 choppers raining hell is 4x more fun than having 1.

I bought this for co-op, but found out it isn't co-op. I can only hope they do it. I would refund the game, but its actually really fun. So I will hold out for co-op.

Coop would be welcomed, but thing is, it is really a lot of coding and even more troubles with balancing, aka coop for 2 with 3 operators sounds problematic.

Next time, read the game description before you buy anything. Also, this is a Vampire Survivor clone, and the genre is not about co-op. It is a single player rouge-lite concept. Imho coop would just ruin the point.
