No because it would block the basement extraction.
here's some easy tips for alien:
you can extinguish flares before they can hurt you or be thrown/dropped, listen for the sound and it igniting briefly ; most people have multiple flares so use this to secure a kill after you've stopped someones flare from a little ways away. they won't have time for three.
you can sit in electrical wire for faster energy recharge, will need to stand for the ones coming off the ceiling ; this can be used to abuse mercs if they are too close to them. you can hit an emp and quickly recharge enough energy to have multiple spits or another emp.
there are hit reg issues, I think hitting the enviroment before a person negates your attack. try to fight away from furniture/walls
glowsticks do little enough damage that you can run right through them and get a hit in on whomever is holding them while only taking 25%ish of your health
lights do more damage the closer you are, if mercs are at the edge of a rooms light trying to look into another room it's pretty safe to run by them and get a hit in.
don't be afraid to lure brave people. a large part of my early game kills come from people trying to finish me off with a flare/glowstick. lure them away from the lights and extinguish/hit n run them to death.
start the game off by getting enough energy to spit, and then wait until around 4-5 minutes to get your energy capped/enough for emp. I find this generally coincides with my first death.
Wtf can confirm that electricity skyrockets nrg regain where I was actually able to emp multiple rooms. Why this isn't in the tutorial is insane.
Yeah that's odd.
