you have to get a zipline attachment, though I could never find it; the extract location is pretty easy to find, it's just outside near one of the catwalk/hallway things that go across a chasm

That's one of a few extracts, also the zipline attachment is a purchase from vendor for 5000. There's another extract that requires you to be at a certain weight
