I hope you like it! :)
Yay! :3
I'm glad you liked them!
I'll probably make a few more - as despite the maps being sort of tricky, I can't shake the feeling that I should make the player use the mirror many more times than I currently have - 1 mirror turn? Seriously? If I end up posting another map, it'll probably involve at least 7 mirror turns, I'm certain! >:)
And I'm also lacking on forcing the player to enlarge themselves AND minimize themselves. The final puzzle was such a great example of that (well for my solution anyways), and I couldn't think of anything that complicated yet :D
Tricky portal placement. The laser can hit two switches by going through portals in the right alignment. You'll need time warp for a third one, though.
Also, here's my first map, called "Bypass":

Let me know what you think. I hope more mappers show up over time, this game really does deserve more attention than it's getting.
I actually came upon this with trial and error, but seemed like such a mindf*** opportunity that I just couldn't pass it up.
I'm going to check out your map in a second :D
Permagates! So many permagates!
So many opportunities in making the CRAZIEST MAP EVER!
You are an inspiration :P This is a pretty good map, although I'm not sure if I did the door right with the two switches around it. I just put a portal below the door and I could bypass it if I fell through in the right direction, although I'm certain it was effective, considering I did finish the map. Nice one! Keep it up :)
Especially because it's cleverer than what I've come up with so far xD
I did wonder if I was doing the door right as well by doing the same as Zhuinden. I guess that's the intended solution but it doesn't quite 'feel' right when you're doing it.
Ah, so that's how you got the 3 lasers! To be honest I couldn't figure that out and was too ashamed to admit it! :">
I'm not sure how much I like that as a solution though, I don't think it feels very intuitive. In an update to the editor I might make switches that are placed over walls automatically create metal walls if the "Auto-update Collision Map" setting is on.
I'll probably add a few more metal bars to the side of the map to nudge the player in the right direction. If there's one tiny problem with this approach of mine, it's that it forces the player to figure out *the one and only solution* that I came up with as I was making the map.
...aaaand I've updated #03 and #04 with extra metal to make it clearer on how to solve them.
Here's a pretty easy but fancy one, I'll make sure the next one is challenging.
Clever.
Nice, I hadn't really considered using the permagates in puzzle so much. It does throw up some interesting possibilities.
I'll upload the level I've been working on soon. :) It's not quite finished yet but it would be interesting to get feedback!
Sounds fun already :D
In the meantime, here's the CONCEPT of my next level:
THIS IS NOT DONE YET: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4363931/Gateways/MapNumber7.gws
But it's not done yet, not at all :D It's going to be MADNESS!
Zhuinden: your maps are mad! :D please keep making more, they're like a really precise puzzle where every piece looks like it can go anywhere, but only one way will solve it.
