Yaay! Thanks for making this! :steamhappy:
In case you didnt see the messages I posted on discord, I said that you can rest assured. The fully translated in english.

As for the number of monsters that are currently in the game, maybe 35 or so? I dunno the exact number.

All I know is that we can catch every monster thats currently in the game. The only exception to this is the floor master or whatever you wanna call it, that appears once the timer reaches 0. Every big boss at the end of each biome can be caught as well as every "normal" monster.
Darn! Im watching the youtube video you linked and it makes me wanna play the game soooooo bad!!

That said, Im still gonna wait until the devs add steam cloud support to the game before I play it again. My PC died a few months ago and I hadnt made a backup of my save for like 2 or 3 months. Because of that, I lost a whole bunch of stuff like an event dress, accessories with great stats and a super rare key item as well.... T_T

Keep progressing through the story. Youll eventually unlock the bridge and everything thats on the other side. Once you do that, interact with the crystal-like thing and you should be able to add the skeleton you just captured to your team.

Thats a great idea! The first two difficulties are pretty much safe, its nearly impossible to die, but the last difficulty is a whole lot harder, especially on higher floors.
Oh, thats right! Talking about that, the higher you go in the labyrinth, the better the monsters you can catch. In a previous version, I was able to reach floor 600 and the monsters I caught there had insanely high stats! This is super useful for... well, something. I wont say it since I dont want to spoil stuff.

Not sure if they gain more stats when they level up, but they have higher base stats, so they start way stronger. And yes! Catching normal monsters is a great way to start. Boss monsters are waaaay harder to catch and not worth the effort at the beginning.

Oh and again, I wont spoil anything, but if you like customizing your monsters, you better look forward to the moment youll unlock the facilities on the other side of the bridge.

Has anyone been actively following the game since its release? I'm just surprised that it has mixed reviews, and moreover, there are only 200 of them. Yeah, the game is not perfect, but it is a rather unique mix of genres and the combat is super fun. Maybe developers primarily sell it in some Japanese only store, and steam is just a side activity or idk?

Me! Me! Meeeee!!! 🙋‍♂️
Well, maybe not since day 1 but I did find this hidden gem a few days after its release date.

For the mixed reviews, from what Ive seen, its mostly people who complain about bugs (in an EA title...) and mad people who dont know how the game works, so I think you shouldnt really pay attention to them.

For its audience, afaik, the game is only on steam but yeah, the game is way more popular with Japanese people for some reason. Even the discord is 99% JP channels. Its such a shame though, this game is insanely good!! Id be so happy if more people knew about it!

I ended up synching the games save folder with a cloud storage service so that I could play without having to worry about my savefile and damn Im happy I did so! They added and changed so many things since the last time I played, its crazy!

First thing I noticed is that merchant girl outside your house. Freakin' cute lady! XD

Next thing I noticed is the hard mode floors. Now this is way more "hard mode" than what we used to have! The monsters all rush towards you and attack you like a friggin' pack of famished wild dogs! I just have to make sure I dont get too close to the shop clerk next time... Dodging and interacting with NPCs is the same button, so yeah... Almost died there.

Another new thing related to hard mode that I noticed is the "Enhanced" monsters. Before, the Gold Skelun was a special "Gold" monster that had increased speed and a sh*t ton of HP but now the poor guy has been reduced to being a normal monster with slightly more HP than the normal Skeluns. He even lost his "Gold" title... :(
Now the new powerful monster is a completely new monster that spits countless ice crystals in every direction. Im gonna have to catch one to complete mah collection! ✦.✦

EDIT: Looks like the "Enhanced" monsters can be any normal monster after all. The Frost Skull or whatever its called isnt the only enhanced monster. Its still a new monster though!

EDIT2: Oh! Looks like some Golden Skeluns have kept their "Golden" title.

And the other thing I noticed, again, related to hard mode floors, is that its WAY easier to get treasure chests now. What we get on lower floors seems to be only crap, but I wonder what kind of neat goodies we'll get on higher floors!? This really fires me up!
