Stacker efficiency
If a stacker accepts two belts worth of items, and it says that lets say 6 is required for one full belt, like in early game pre upgrades.

Maybe im overthinking it but I feel like stackers are constantly bogging down factories, especially with the one belt output. maybe im overthinking it?

Should I create 12 stackers if inputting 2 full belts, and then split the output so that 6 stackers are going to one belt, and another 6 are going into another output?

you're getting it! soon you'll wonder how you got by with less than 4 belts, go get 'em.

Stackers are surprisingly compact compared to other machines. It's basically 2x2x1, can you can create a row of six+.
You can easily create one platform just for stacking, and just save it as a blueprint.

I shared a blueprint here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3310575369

Without using it, you can see from the screenshot that you need 6 is required. You will always need 6 per belt, unless you don't upgrade equally. But at max upgrades you still/again need 6 per belt.

Note: the description for the bent stackers doesn't say so, but they're more efficient than normal stackers, so you only need 4 per line instead of 6.
...REALLY seems like the kind of thing the description should say. I wouldn't have waited 20 hours to buy them otherwise.

Was going to say this too - seems a lot of work for a less eff. stacker. But people are free to do what they want.
