shapez 2

Fantastic Game, but it gets easier over time.
I really enjoy the Game and I already spent it way too much. But my expression is that it does not really grow in complexity as I have expected.

The concept with the platforms is awesome, but on the same time, it makes everything just bigger. I have blueprints for dedicated tasks like rotating, stacking, applying colors and so on. Then even tasks from later milestones (on normal mode) are relatively small and very often the same.

In other games like DSP you have to deal with resources, energy and different ratios and enemies. This makes these Games challenging somehow. I think shapez 2 needs more complexity. If there would be bigger platforms I would probably try to build self containing modules that try to complete bigger tasks, but the 4 input and 4 output belts already take so much space, that even a 3x3 platform sometimes feels limited.

What do you think?

Just want to repeat it: It is really good game, almost bug free and super good input controls. A 8/10 for me.

Normal mode is basically the tutorial. Sure you'll have all those blueprints for common transformations if you play on Hard/Insane but the complexity of the shapes ramps up. For example a task in Milestone 5 Hard requires you to juggle 9 differently colored shape pieces(12 if you count uncolored). You then have to slot in those blueprints you have and try to figure out how best to use them. That's just for when you've recently unlocked painting.

If you think it gets too easy, try the insane scenario ;)
