Feeling dumb in the tutorial already
I'm sure I'm way overthinking it. But I can't figure out how I would get the smaller single quarter square on top of a larger quarter square. Ru------:Ru------
Is it just simply two regular quarter squares stacked on top of each other?

Yes, the stacker "shrinks" the top shape for better visibility. The higher you get the smaller. Put one square in the lower input and one in the top and you should see the result.

The squares a similar in size before stacking. The top one gets squished a bit, when stacking.
It's mainly a QoL feature, to see all layers.
You can also click the shapes and examine them in different views and angles.

It is. Are you trying to cut the pieces down first and then stack them?

Do it the other way. Stack one square on top of another. Similar to building a pyramid. Then cut it in half, rotate, cut it in half again.
