I have an RTX 2070 and it would Black Screen crash my entire desktop.
I went to SMAA... Crash (took longer).
I forced it to 60FPS in game (not using Nvidia)... Crash
I dropped down from Extreme to High. That seemed to do it. So far I've been playing for an hour with no issues/crashes.
AMD Ryzen 5
Windows 10
32G RAM
RTX 2070
This seems like your GPU could be overheating
Entirely possible. :-)
I checked temps throughout the first two plays using the Geforce overlay. They seemed normal. 50-59 degrees Celsius. Also checked power draw given OPs post; only about 150W max. It's possible I got a spike and that's what crashed it. Do you know of any tools that *record* power and temp, so when I crash I'll have a log?
thanks :)
Im running an undervolted 3060 for 3 years now and this is the first game which caused the card to go 85*C and 100% fans, it went so loud i was scared something was wrong :(.
I was playing hunt showdown today for hours earlier (with their new engine) and the card was stable at normal 60-70*C and 70% fans.
The solution here was to go "2nd vblank" which reduced the load.
TL:DR, Launch this game in Vulkan if you're having issues with GPU Draw percentages.
