shapez 2

Just my impression till now
Why can i rotate the cutters but the cutting directions doesn´t rotate with the cutter. Why is the direction fixed to west east? Weird and i hate it.
Also why doesn´t the alignemt of the requested object matter when it passes the last ramp before entering the vortex. That takes away a little bit of the purpose for me. Yes it is 3D now verses shapez and in the vortex the object gets twisted anyways, but that´s no excuse for me. The alignment should be important at the last ramp before the vortex.
Overall this game feels a little confusing to me with all the different direction and alignment mechanics.
I loved shapez but i don´t know if i can get used to shapez2. Hopefully.
Because the testing took more than 2 hours so i am stuck with it anyways.
;)

This is required so that blueprints don't change their functionality when rotating for example. It has been discussed a lot in the past but it's essential for the later stages of the game.

Because you can simply rotate your camera 90 degrees - what would you expect to happen then? It would be quite confusing as visually it would look like you'd deliver the correct shape.

Hope that clarifies it a bit!

I don't really think this matters. It would add nothing to the game as you could simply put a few rotators at the end of the production line to change the final orientation.

So becuase of the blueprint and rotation. Ok i do´t no what happened it the later stages but for now... i have a production line in which my cutter cuts a part vertical, now i make a blueprint of this line and copy it but also rotate the blueprint 90° than my cutter will rotate but not my cutting directing, so now my part will be cut horizontal, right. So the function is changed. I can´t test it right now, but maybe you can correct me.

And to the second point, i dont understand what you are trying to tell me. What will happen when i rotate my camera? The camera will rotate but nothing on the ground. ´Like in reality and every other game. Maybe my english is to bad. Sorry.

That´s your opinion fine but i see it differently. But i think in shapez it was important, i am not sure. Long ago.
And when this is not important why is it important that you put a circle on a square and not a square on a circle. And over all why is it even important that you put one thing on the other. Why did you drive with the hood in front and not with the trunk. And so on.
But as i said, maybe i can coop with it but i will not like it.
