Some thoughts after completing Hex mode
It's weird. Not in a bad way, but it feels somewhat out of place.
Yes, it's 6 segments. But there are only three types of segments.
99% of the asteroids are useless, I won't be bothered to make use of them if I can easily get what I need from an shape where all segments are the same and they are quite common on standard generation settings. During the time I spent playing Hex mode I never ventured from Vortex further than 10 squares.

Overall, it feels like Hex right now is just a skeleton and muscles will be added later.

just like all quad modes, shrink the asteroid size to limit the resources you can get to spice up the game, otherwise it would be boring not matter what if you've got all the essential BPs for your builds

It will only make delivery logistics more complicated which in my opinion is detached from making shapes. And even in that case it won't be too much of a hustle. I was able to supply 4 layers MAM with only 3 shape asteroids. By shrinking them I will bump it to 6? maybe 8? It's 10 minutes of copy-paste max.

The quarter scenarios are definitely where most of our work was put into, hexagons are something we thought would be fun to try and see if people like it. I don't know if we have any big plans for hexagons right now, but if there's enough interest and potential in the scenario we'll for sure go back and see what improvements could be made.

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciated.
