What am I doing wrong???
Code for 1st random shape after all milestones is SuSuSuRu, three points and a square. Seems simple enough. No pins underneath, its 1 layer tall, no paint, no crystals. I assembled that, rotation is irrelevant, and it's not accepting it.

I have over 100hrs on Shapez 1, and I got this far in the sequel, I obviously know how all these features work, so why doesn't it go in? I seriously cant see the error. If someone can tell me how to post a screenshot, I will.

Can't help much until we see what you submitted vs what is being asked. What's the code of the shape you are submitting?

My first one was WuSuWuCu
Its a bug that has been reported. Random shapes after the last milestone need to be in proper rotation, at least until there is an update.
Also, you need to have finished the final milestone. I made 8000 of the first one I got (you only need 1,000) while it was still grayed out. but it did not register until the 150,000 shapes in the last milestone were complete. If you click on the shape in the milestones tab It will give you the number stored in the vortex but it will not appear on the milestone page until the panel lights up with the required shape.

I have the same kind of bugs for all randomized goals. Sometime it works, sometime not. I think it-s about the rotation of the shape which IS a bug.

Have the same problem with my first randomized shape. Circle in one corner and a square in the opposite, just one level. No matter how i rotate it, it does not count. Neither by assembly line nor by train.

Edit: I was wrong. Rotation did matter. But the rotation is different from the menu.

As for the "correct" rotation, it has to match what you see in the shape's description when looking at it with the standard, "north = up" camera rotation. Rotating the camera is barely ever needed or useful, and right now can be detrimental to loaders and random operator shapes, so it's best to not touch that camera angle at all.

By default that would be F12. However, the bug is known and the solution is to look at the shape while having north as "up" in your screen. If the shape is in the same rotation as the one in the operator level screen, then it will be accepted by the vortex.

It's been noted by the dev themselves that the bug will be fixed in a future patch, so it's just a matter of making sure you're delivering the shape in the correct rotation, until the bug is fixed.

If they are the same orientation, they should be getting accepted. That's a bug I hadn't seen yet.

It's an optional part of the game, though, like tasks. If you're done with all the milestones you could just restart in a higher difficulty or with different map options.

To be fair, this is one game where I haven't started trying to "break" the game yet, and many bugs aren't that easy to replicate.

Meanwhile other games? "Fallout New Vegas, the land where radscorpions walk on their tails and inert corpses may just start dancing around for no reason without any external force involved."

Never took advantage of the rotation freedom - always "saw a shape" - "make said shape precisely" as a thing - seems like if folks took this as a default mindset - could avoid the issue all together - but bugs are bugs.

I always rotate shapes so they match the shape shown in the task/goal preview, so first time I heard about random operator shapes being bugged was when reading comments here. My own CDO* helped me avoid that one bug.

* That's "OCD" but with its letters ordered the right way. ;)

I finally got past them. I had to rotate one shape 180 degrees for the vortex to accept it, and the other one had the wrong color crystal. Thanks for your help, fellow humans
